Facilitator behaviours and Integral values
Integral Facilitator traits and skills – intended to be added to and reviewed as required. All facilitators will be encouraged to develop these and be held to account around these;
- Practice mindfulness and/or meditation daily (Wilber’s Waking Up)
- Develop self and have a solid reflective practice (Wilber’s Cleaning Up)
- Ask for support from others as needed
- Own your own ‘stuff’ and behaviours
- Be excited about making an impact on the world (Wilber’s Showing Up)
- Develop competence in technical skills to train and facilitate
- Be open to feedback from each other
- Acknowledge where you need development and take accountability for it
- Be able to explain a simplified version of the Integral Leadership model and associated Integral theory
- Understand your role in the larger team/world and be respectful of others needs and time (we are all connected and ‘this is none other than myself’)
- Listening and responding to clients – taking into account their needs and our knowledge/experience to build a best practice program or response (that may also move them on the levels of development framework)
